I haven't always been an artist, although I have always enjoyed drawing, painting and writing.

I first had a career as a teacher of letters in college, a job that I liked above all for the contact with the children whom I appreciated for their curiosity of mind, their imagination, their enthusiasm. I have also kept in touch with several of them on social networks and I am happy to hear from them, to see them grow and evolve.

Around the age of 40, I saw a National Dramatic Center "Le Campagnol" set up in my then city, Corbeil-Essonnes in the Paris region, whose director Jean-Claude Penchenat was one of the co- founders of the Théâtre du Soleil with Ariane Mnouchkine. It was a revolution in my life! Like all CDN Le Campagnol developed its contacts with the population and particularly schools. In my college in the Priority Education Zone - ZEP- there was a theater option created by a literary colleague who had just been transferred, he suggested that I take it up again with a colleague because it had 2 levels 4th and 3rd. I agreed to take the 1st level and decided to train myself very quickly. I accumulated training within the national education system but also through the workshops and internships offered by the CDN and the following year I was - more or less - ready. Of course, I continued my training throughout the rest of my career and I lived wonderful adventures, alone through the shows in which I participated and with my students and the actors who co-animated the option. We went to see shows of course. ^r but we also attended their creation from start to finish, some of my oldest students took part in workshops with me or in events such as the Campagnol Parade in the summer quarters and other theatrical events in the city of Trash.

When the option disappeared (yes the projects are often ephemeral in the national education lack of budget) I applied for workshops and I had them until the end of my career. I was also the coordinator of a theater project in the ZEP which made it possible to connect the establishments of the agglomeration with each other and with the CDN to build educational projects, until the departure of Campagnol. I then worked with the Evry theatre.

In retirement I continued to intervene in primary schools for theater workshops and for me in adult workshops.

4 years ago, looking for a new troupe, I arrived a little by chance in a young acting school which had just been created in Chambéry where I now live "La Sphère de l'acteur". And after having caught the virus of the theater, I caught that of the cinema! I started by doing extras to "see" then short films for students from Lyon film schools and by chance, and a little by chance (it's a constant in my life) I took part in 2 feature films films by young filmmakers from Lyon: Venkat Damara and Mehdi Daroux who owns a production company Shaky Prod: a difficult but magnificent 2-year adventure (during the covid) that taught me a lot about this profession. It's Medhi who made my last photo book of which you will see pictures here and will soon make my 2nd demo reel.
